Artist Bio:

Courtney Stock is an artist based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Her hybrid works combine the physicality of sculpture with the concerns of painting. Stock received a MFA from Massachusetts College of Art & Design, a Post-Baccalaureate certificate from San Francisco Art Institute, and a BA in Visual Arts & Art History from Bowdoin College.Her work has been shown at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco,California, the Bakalar and Paine Gallery in Boston, Massachusetts, and the 2017 Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Kerala, India. In August 2018, Stock was an artist-in-residence at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. Upcoming exhibitions include ‘Tense’,a four-person show, curated by Gina Mudge, in Boston, Massachusetts.
